Still Curious :

So, you lived in a van? What's the deal with that?

That's right - it's true. I wanted more adventure, and more freedom in my life so I decided the best way to achieve that was to move out of my apartment and get a studio apartment on wheels instead! I was paying $1200 a month to live in San Francisco, and now, I pay $500 a month and live where ever I want...not a bad deal!

There's lots to be said for less space. One reason I love it is because there's less to buy - less to own - less to worry about. Plus - there is more money left over each month to save, go out to eat with,
or invest in The WOW COOL Show!

Check out details of me, those you see on the show, and the van below. Thanks for visiting!

  • MAIN FEATURES OF THE WOW COOL BIO VAN :
    • Rated for 25mpg, turbo BIO diesel Mercedes Benz engine. ( Where to Get Bio - D )

  • Solar Panels that charge the on-board gel-cell batteries that run the van's electronics

  • High Speed Internet using a complicated EVDO system ( but easy enough! )
    • Swivel seats for driver and front passenger comfort and flexibility.
    • Large, removable dining table and couch that also functions as my office.
    • Complete with 2 beds ( sleeps 4 ) , wet bath with shower, along with external fresh water and shower hook-ups, TV , GPS tracking alarm and navigation, CB Radio, and Outdoor speakers for a nice little picnic party!

  • Drives like a mini-van. You can park it anywhere because it's no wider than a honda civic, and only 18.5 feet long, putting it under the standard RV cut off length. It has a great 13 foot awning, outdoor hookups for a grill, a great stereo, microwave, Scooter Mount and most important, and very comfortable bed.

UPDATED March 29, 2009

Some of the many places I have passed through.... Scroll down to see them all.

    • WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS :

  •
  • Ahh, my home town, or is it home town region. I don't know, whatever, I love it, it's home. My Favorite towns in this region are Heath, Heath, Shelburne Falls, Northhampton, and Amherst.

    • SAN FRANCSICO BAY AREA:

An amazing place almost as amazing as where I am from, perhaps more amazing, you decide, visit both. I think that this place has the most culture of anywhere I have ever been.

    • SEATTLE

I went to see my friend Jocelyn and we went canoeing on Bainbridge Island...sweet! It was really fun, and Seattle is an amazing place. I must say I saw lots of weirdo's there, but also met lots of great people!

    • FREEWAY TEXAS:

Texas was awesome, I must say. Sure it has a reputation, but you know what, for the most part, everyone was really friendly, and they had great custom bar-b-q grills,a nd frankly, that says a lot about a state.

    • FREEWAY MOHAVE DESERT:

Wow, what a place to drive through in the AM. I recommend driving west as the sun comes up behind you. It will light up the sky and everything in front of you in an awesome way. The sunrise behind you ( pictured above when it was me, obviously, not you ) was a great sight as well...i also love the smell of sage, which was abundant here.

    • BODEGA, CA

One of Northern California's most beautifully ocean views for sure. Bodega Head is a place of great wonder, and guaranteed to show you one of the best sunset's of your life. Check it out someday! This is my friend Eric, who I often visit the ocean with.

    • ALAMEDA, CA

This town used to be one of the hopping beach towns that captured the quaintest idea of what it meant to be from California, to a kid like me from the east coast. When I explore it,and walk around it, I feel like I'm in a little vessel of history. Right near the metro of Oakland, Alameda is a interesting, and special, place to visit.

    • MOUNT SHASTA, CA

Oh my goodness! What a mountain, what a view! I had always heard stories about this place, but you really can't get it until you get there! This is a shot from a vista point on Interstate 5 South.

    • PORTLAND, OR

I could have taken a shot of the city, but i took a shot of this instead. This is a gondola tower, and it is one of the two or three that carries these space age looking gondola cars up and over the freeway and into Portland. It was pretty amazing to see, I've only seen this type of thing at Ski Area's in France. Portland itself was amazing as well, what a fun town!!

    • WEED, CA

Funny name, I know. This was a great little restaurant, and social center, called The Buddha Belly Cafe, and The Town Oracle. It was a great little organic shop, with lots of good foot, internet, and what seemed to me to be the social scene in this little "weed" of a town.

    • OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

This was amazing, I was just exploring, walking around, and decided to go into this theatre to see what people were buying tickets for. I waited in line, asked the woman behind the glass, and who did she say, but Bill Cosby! My favorite comic of all time!! I saw the show and it was great. Thanks again Bill, I love you.

    • NASHVILLE, TN : Music City

This is where the Greek Parthenon Video was filmed. This was a great park right near the middle of the city, near Vanderbilt, or Vandy, University. Quite a place I must say, lots of pretty, um, people....

    • CHARLOTTSVILLE, VA

It's no question why they call these the Blue Ridge Mountains....this is one of the nicest vista's I've seen in some time.

    • AH, VERMONT

Sptingtime in the norhteast is so much sweeter because you have to wait for it!
